Forward-facing sonar revolutionized ice fishing, but it also added complexity—requiring a shuttle with battery and display, plus a tripod-mounted transducer. Every move meant juggling multiple components, tearing down, and setting up all over again.

Every Shuttle Buddy is cut, assembled, and packed in our Inver Grove Heights workshop — about 20 minutes south of Saint Paul. We don't outsource overseas. We don't run a thousand-piece batch and hope for the best.
Each unit is built to order. That's why we ship in 1–3 weeks instead of next-day. It's also why every Shuttle Buddy that goes out the door has been touched, fitted, and inspected by someone who knows the difference between "good enough" and "right."
The materials matter. Marine-grade HDPE for the body — so it won't crack at minus-20. Aircraft-grade aluminum for the structural components. 304 stainless fasteners that don't corrode after a season of slush and salt. The same materials boat builders use, sized for a shuttle.
